Introduction
Over the past few decades with the advancement of human civilization and industrialization the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere have increased significantly [1]. Carbon dioxide is one of the most important among the greenhouse gases [2]. The burning of fossil fuels along with global population blast, are considered to be the top contributors of CO2 emission [3]. Besides that, forest fire and burning of organic materials [4] contribute largely in increasing the abundance of atmospheric CO2. The rapid raise in CO2 concentration in air is creating major critical issues like global warming, ocean acidification and climate change [5]. According to international energy agency (IEA) there is approximately 0.7 ℃ rise in global temperature than that of the 1961–1990 baseline, which is serious threat to mankind [6]. Thus, mitigation of the increasing trend of CO2 concentration in air is a key concern to scientists and environmentalists across the globe.
